Vitality (Estriol/Tretinoin w/Niacinamide)
Advanced anti-aging skincare that works at the hormonal and cellular level. Vitality combines prescription-strength tretinoin with hormone therapy and barrier support to transform aging skin from the inside out. This isn’t your typical retinol cream—it’s a comprehensive skin rejuvenation formula that addresses thinning, wrinkles, loss of elasticity, and uneven tone all at once.
What It Helps With:
- Fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of elasticity
- Thinning skin and reduced firmness
- Uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation
- Rough texture and enlarged pores
- Age-related skin changes (especially menopausal skin)
- Dullness and loss of radiance
- Overall skin aging and photoaging damage
How It Works:
Estriol – A gentle form of estrogen that rejuvenates aging skin by increasing collagen production, improving skin thickness and elasticity, enhancing hydration, and restoring the firmness that declines with age (especially during and after menopause). Topical estriol gives you the skin benefits without systemic hormone effects.
Tretinoin (Retin-A) – The gold standard prescription retinoid for anti-aging. It accelerates cell turnover, stimulates collagen production, fades hyperpigmentation and sun damage, refines skin texture, and unclogs pores. Decades of research prove it’s the most effective topical ingredient for reversing visible signs of aging.
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) – A multitasking powerhouse that brightens skin tone, strengthens the skin barrier, reduces inflammation and redness, minimizes pore appearance, and helps buffer tretinoin irritation. It makes the formula more tolerable while adding its own anti-aging benefits.
Together, these three ingredients create a complete anti-aging system—hormone support for skin structure and thickness, cellular renewal from tretinoin, and barrier protection from niacinamide. The result is firmer, smoother, brighter, more youthful-looking skin.
Application: Apply a pea-sized amount to clean, dry face once nightly. Start 2-3 times per week and gradually increase frequency as your skin adjusts. Always use sunscreen during the day (tretinoin increases sun sensitivity). Avoid eye area unless specifically directed. Can be applied to neck and chest as well.
What to Expect: Initial adjustment period (1-3 weeks) may include mild flaking, dryness, or redness as skin acclimates—this is normal and temporary. Skin texture improvements typically visible at 4-6 weeks. Fine lines and wrinkles begin improving at 8-12 weeks. Significant anti-aging results usually apparent at 3-6 months of consistent use. Skin continues improving over time with ongoing use.
Contraindications:
- Pregnancy or trying to conceive (tretinoin causes birth defects)
- Breastfeeding
- Hormone-sensitive cancers (breast, ovarian, uterine)
- Eczema, rosacea, or very sensitive skin (use with caution)
- Recent facial procedures or active skin injuries
- Known hypersensitivity to any ingredients
Important Usage Tips:
- MUST use broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily—tretinoin increases sun sensitivity
- Start slowly to minimize irritation (2-3 nights per week, then increase)
- Apply to dry skin (wait 20-30 minutes after cleansing to reduce irritation)
- Use a gentle, hydrating moisturizer over top if needed
- Avoid waxing, harsh scrubs, or other irritating treatments while using
- Results require patience and consistency—this is a marathon, not a sprint
Common Side Effects: Initial dryness, flaking, or mild redness (usually temporary). Some purging of clogged pores in first 4-6 weeks. Increased sun sensitivity. Most side effects diminish as skin adjusts.
